This project was the renovation of a small hotel located in the heart of the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. The new owners wanted to change the image of this property to reflect an elegant and sophisticated boutique atmosphere.
The Campus Inn (formerly Madison Inn) is approximately 40+ years old and had not been updated since the 1960’s. The overall mission was to create the illusion of a much grander and more spacious area given existing facility limitations. The Project Scope encompassed renovation of the 36,000 sq/ft hotel, including 75 rooms, two luxury suites, lobby and hotel offices.
The feel and aesthetic of the space drastically changed. Products used included: Vector Optima ceiling system, Damask wall covering, crystal light fixtures, patterned wool carpet, luxurious fabrics and elegant furniture pieces.
